Alex Wasson

Alex grew up in Texas and traveled around for a while working in the hospitality industry and pursuing creative endeavors like writing and acting. In January of 2020 he arrived at High Spirit Community Farm and spent the next 18 months living with us as an intern. He survived a wild community vacation to Florida in his first month and then he survived the pandemic with us. During that time he showed us that he was calm in the face of stress, committed, and fun. Alex left his internship with us to work in the field of Applied Behavioral Analysis, where he took his skills in working with people with disabilities to the next level. He came back to High Spirit in a leadership role in August of 2023.
