Teirza Barber

Teirza Barber joined High Spirit full time in the Spring of 2024, previously working as the Kitchen Manager at Riverbrook Residence. Native to Pittsfield, Teirza has an eclectic professional background including elder care, real estate, and starting her own cleaning company, “Miracle Maids”. Teirza’s heart is in the human services field and was drawn to High Spirit as a place where she could apply her best assets and share her ambitious and positive attitude with our residents, assisting them in living their “best lives”. Teirza enjoys diligent work on the farm, preparing meals with our fresh produce, as well as the kindness High Spirit Community cultivates. She’s keeping busy at Tembo House as a residential support worker, where she’s tackling homesteading projects in between hikes and pool crews. Teirza holds certifications in “ServSafe”, allergen awareness, as well as CPR/first aid. In her free time, she can be found exploring in her camper and spending quality time with her partner & family.
